Poached Eggs

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons of white distilled vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper
Instructions
  1. Add enough water to come up one inch on the sides of a saucepan or skillet.
  2. Add in salt and vinegar.
  3. Bring to a simmer (not a boil) over medium-high heat.
  4. Crack each egg into a separate, small custard cup or ramekin.
  5. Once water has reached a simmer, lower the cup into the water and gently pour the eggs into the water one at a time.
  6. Turn off the heat and cover for 6 minutes.
  7. Remove the egg with a slotted spoon.
  8. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
