Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes, or more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Cooked brown rice, for serving
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.
  2. In a pan over medium high, heat up vegetable oil. Brown ground beef and garlic and drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in sauce mixture and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Scoop over cooked brown rice and garnish with green onions.
