Korean Beef
- ⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes, or more to taste
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Cooked brown rice, for serving
- In a small bowl mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.
- In a pan over medium high, heat up vegetable oil. Brown ground beef and garlic and drain any excess fat.
- Stir in sauce mixture and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Scoop over cooked brown rice and garnish with green onions.
