Serves: 8 Burgers
Ingredients
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 8 (3-inch) buns
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Optional: American cheese, grilled onions, ketchup, mustard for topping
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  2. Line a half sheet pan with parchment paper and place the ground beef right in the middle. Lay a sheet of plastic wrap right over the top of that.
  3. Roll the meat out with a rolling pin until it is very thin and reaches all sides of the pan.
  4. Remove the plastic wrap and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the top.
  5. Carefully remove the parchment paper from the pan and lay on a flat surface. Fold the meat in half using the parchment paper.
  6. Using a pizza cutter, cut into 8 squares.
  7. Wrap the buns in foil and park in a 250 degree oven for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Place the burgers on a 350 degree griddle or a grill lined with aluminum foil. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. If using cheese, pop it on after you flip the burger so it's nice and melted.
  9. Pull the buns out of the oven, spread them with a little mayo and top with a burger. You can add some grilled onions, ketchup, mustard or anything else your little heart desires. These babies go with anything!
