Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients
  • For Meatballs:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ onion, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • For Sauce:
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
  • ½ cup chopped parsley
Instructions
  1. Mix the beef, breadcrumbs, onions, egg, salt and pepper together in a large bowl until evenly combined.
  2. Roll into 1½" balls. Heat the canola oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and cook the meatballs for 1 minute on each side.
  3. Add in broth, milk, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add in egg noodles and stir constantly until the noodles are cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 8 minutes.
  5. Add the parmesan and parsley. Stir until cheese has melted.
  6. Sprinkle with a little more parmesan and serve!
