Swedish Meatballs

- For Meatballs:
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- ½ onion, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- For Sauce:
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- Mix the beef, breadcrumbs, onions, egg, salt and pepper together in a large bowl until evenly combined.
- Roll into 1½" balls. Heat the canola oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and cook the meatballs for 1 minute on each side.
- Add in broth, milk, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce to the pot. Bring to a boil.
- Add in egg noodles and stir constantly until the noodles are cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 8 minutes.
- Add the parmesan and parsley. Stir until cheese has melted.
- Sprinkle with a little more parmesan and serve!
