Korean Beef

Korean Beef - 5

Happy FriYAY!

In a perfect world, I would have meal plans and grocery lists in colorful OCD binders and a freezer full of make-ahead meals planned months in advance. Sometimes this happens and I get a gold star. And then are the times when 3:00 pm rolls around and I have absolutely no idea what’s for dinner.  We’ve all been there, right? This is the answer to your prayers. It’s a cheater Korean Beef bowl. It is not, however, a cheater in flavor! We are human, and sometimes we just don’t have hours or even an hour to spend cooking dinner. This Korean Beef Bowl will make you forget your never-ending to do lists and solve all the world’s problems. Well…it will at least solve dinner.  In 15 minutes flat you can have an amazing meal that your family will love. Perfect for those hectic weeknights.

Korean Beef - 1

In a small bowl mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes and ginger.

Korean Beef - 3

In a pan over medium-high, heat up vegetable oil. Brown ground beef and garlic and drain any excess fat.

Korean Beef - 4

Stir in sauce mixture and simmer for 3 minutes.

Korean Beef - 5

Scoop over cooked brown rice and garnish with green onions.

Sarah, in a perfect world I’d have my meals already cooked to where all I have to do is pick one and warm it up and not have to do a thing after working lol. But this korean beef is definitely making me excited to make it. It looks delish.
