Zimtal Nut Milk Bag {Giveaway}

July 24, 2014 By Sarah 'n Spice 15 Comments

V

Have you ever made your own almond or coconut milk at home? Ever used cheesecloth to stain yogurt, chicken stock or vegetable juice? If you have or are ever considering doing any of the aforementioned tasks you are going to love this, The Zimtal Nut Milk Bag. I purchased mine a few weeks ago and fell in love. I’ve been making my own coconut and almond milk for a few years now and have gone through endless supplies of cheesecloth, which by the way isn’t that cheap! I decided to look for an alternative online and immediately found the #1 Rated Nut Milk Bag on Amazon. I purchase A LOT of things on Amazon, so the reviews are very important to me. When I saw all 5 star reviews and a 100% money back guarantee I was sold. I got it in the mail 2 days later (thank you Amazon Prime) and used immediately. This day, I blended coconut flakes and warm water in my Vitamix on high for 2-3 minutes and strained with the Zimtal bag.

Verdict, this thing is awesome! My coconut milk was free of any pulp and clean up was so easy! I love that I can reuse the bag over and over again. Just flip it inside out to rinse. It dries very quickly as well.  I will post up the Coconut Milk recipe soon, along with some other Almond Milk mixes.

    I’m thinking this might be good to try and make homemade ricotta! Always wanted to try that. Yum!

      We do too, and I love that there’s no preservatives when you make it at home yourself!

    I would make almond milk at home. I do this now with a strainer and it’s just not the same. Thank you!

      I’ve done it with a strainer too! It’s perfectly smooth with this baby, doesn’t leave any pulp like I’m sure you’re used to with the strainer.

    I make coconut milk at home and use chips instead of flakes. Would love to try this out and win 🙂

      I use chips occasionally too, they both work great! This bag is amazing for it.
