Orange Pomegranate Salad

March 25, 2016 By Sarah 'n Spice 12 Comments

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 7

Warmer weather has got my mind on lighter dishes and lots of fruit. Throwing together a fruit salad couldn’t be easier. With the addition of a zingy dressing, this Orange Pomegranate Salad is something special. You get bright freshness from the orange, a tart bite from the pomegranate seeds and floral sweetness from the honey dressing. It’s perfect for a brunch or dessert. And, not to mention the beautiful combination of colors. We like to eat with our eyes too! This salad is a refreshing way to serve fruit for any occasion.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 1

Slice off the top and bottom of the orange. This way, you’ll have a nice stable surface.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 2

With the orange standing upright, cut off peel vertically.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 3

Flip the orange on its side and cut crosswise into 1/2″ slices.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 4

Repeat with remaining oranges and arrange slices on a large platter.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 5

Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 6

In a small bowl, mix together orange juice and honey.

Orange Pomegranate Salad - 7

Drizzle right over the fruit. How gorgeous is that? There’s nothing to it!

Here’s the handy printable. Have a great weekend and Happy Easter!

XO, Sarah

Great combination for a salad Sarah – oranges and pomegranates with a light dressing make for a very healthy salad 🙂

This post came just in time Sarah. I was trying to figure out what to do with the oranges I have since I wasn’t eating them. Now I have a new way to dress them up. Thanks for this.
